fifthmus got sent in last night, even though they changed the freaking deadline on me last minute. *grumbles* I actually kind of like my submission this time, and I can count on one hand the number of fics on my writing journal I actually like. ^_^;;;;; Hopefully my recipient likes it as well? I guess we'll see.... Though as per usual I did not send it to a beta, simply put it up for Akichan and went "This isn't horrible, right? D: " .....I really should start using betas. Seriously. The things I write are generally received well enough without using one, but that's hardly the point. XD Just because something is decent, that doesn't mean it can't be better. I want to be better. Problem is I'm just too lazy most of the time. XD
On the upside of finishing before the original deadline? Dude. I CAN HAZ FREE DRABBLZ. *_*
So mostly I worked on this stupid songfic yesterday- started actually writing it, sincefifthmus was done- and ended up with about four pages written out, which was 782 words. 782 extremely easy words. Too bad I couldn't use this for fifthmus, because honestly, it would've been a hell of a lot easier, this is practically writing itself. I'm maybe halfway through it? And I sent what I had to Akichan, so she could get some of the yelling out of the way for not writing a songfic properly, and she actually said it wasn't bad. You know what? For my first stab at this type of writing, I'll take "not bad", at least for now. I'll poke at her about it later when I'm done with it. By the way, if you guys are curious about what happened with the Waya or Ko thing, it basically settled itself. ^_^
The agenda for today? Well, go back to bed for a while, for starters, since I only got about five hours sleep. Then some writing, maybe some cleaning, and I want to finish Lost In Blue 2. Maybe grab some Chinese takeout. <3 That'll probably be about it, to be honest. XD Okay. Sleep now. Later!
