1. Irish Fest last night- it was fun, though not as good as last year. Probably because between Stef volunteering (three hours) and having to leave for a couple of hours to feed the dogs, since she pet sits, I ended up wandering around a lot by myself. Okay to a point, but kind of boring after a while. And there weren't as many vendors this year. However... there was a wine cooler tent this year. *_* (Only had two, don't worry, you guys. XD) Spent too much money... but I have a Christmas present for Stef (a little froggie necklace, it's cute. Saw it and immediately thought of her), so it's not all bad. Although I got a pair of earrings, right? I put them in. A bit later, I discovered that one of them was missing. -_- So unless I find the earring in the car somewhere (possible), I wasted twenty bucks on a pair of (really cool) earrings that I wore for a couple of hours. Lovely. All in all it wasn't bad, though. There was this guy Seamus Kennedy who was freaking hysterical, and there was Great Big Sea, and they were pretty cool. ^_^
2. Yes,

On the other hand, fic to read, about half of it smut~! There's a lot of het this round. And a lot of Ogata, though I don't think that should surprise anyone. So far in what I've read, there've only been two fics that made my brain go *TWITCH*, so that's a good thing. XD Bet you can guess what they are?
3. So... apparently Akichan and I are going to Otakon next year instead of Anime North? She and her friend Eliza (who we went with this year, which was great fun, and she's hysterical) were talking, and since they've been to AN about ten bazillion times... and they're like, "it's the same every year". And they've always wanted to go to Otakon. So... why not? I mean, I don't mind. A con is a con, right? And this definitely has advantages for me, number one being I WOULDN'T HAVE TO TAKE A 12 HOUR BUS RIDE. They're going to take a car down, and pick me up on the way. It creates a four or five hour detour, but nevermind. XDDD Also? It's in the States, so no passport and I don't have to exchange any money. So no sucky exchange rate that always seems to bite me in the ass. SCORE. Also... since the route mapquest has us take go right past NYC and Philly.... we can make small detours and have a nice little vacation. <3 And I've never been to Philledelphia, so that should be interesting. I've also never been to Baltimore, which is where the con is.
OH. Jet. This is... semi close to where you are (kindasortanotreally)... Otakon 2009, y/n? We could meet you there or something~
The thing is, though, that Akichan wants to cosplay. ....... I'm like, I'd have to lose a crapload of wight before I felt comfortable doing something like that. Her response? "That's fine, we have nine months. We'll both do it!" ................... You know this isn't going to happen, right? And I'd still be overweight, just for the record, if we go with a 2 pounds a week thing, going from October to the beginning of July. I'm just saying. XD But the plan, at the moment, is to lose a bunch of weight, and then we'll both cosplay- she's going to be Sora and I'm going to be Riku. Oh. The other problem? I can't sew for crap. Which means I have to buy my costume. Plus the wig and everything. -_- Oh, and I can't find the costume I want. I want this. No one seems to have that, but then I've only looked a few places. Bah.
So basically, goodbye new computer plans, hello trying to save up a ton of money for Otakon. <_< Whoops?
Okay. If I'm going to get something to eat and shower before we've got to leave so I can get to work on time, I'd better go. Later guys~!
