I don't do NaNoWriMo. I just don't write at that speed, ever, and there's no way I could possibly win at it. However... I saw the thing on LJ for NaBloPoMo- even though it's an equally stupid name, it's a much more manageable concept. A blog entry a day for a month. I can do that, right? *shifty eyes* Ahhh, possibly, you guys know how I am about that stuff. More likely you'll all watch me crash and burn. At any rate, expect lots of posting from me! Even if it's mind numblingly boring! ^_^;;; Considering that I work evenings, I figure that probably the best approach will be to post before work- just to make sure I get in the post for the day and I don't have to worry about it if I end up working late or whatever. Though I suppose there's always the possibility of a voice post, that would still count...
I officially go back to work tomorrow. Thank freaking god. Of course, after a day or two back, I'll be ready to leave again, especially now that we're officially into the holiday season. UGH. I hate the holidays. Can we just skip Christmas this year? Honestly?
Though I got a random check in the mail yesterday from work. I'd thought Kerry put in the rest of my sick time in a couple of weeks ago, but apparently not, as it was a check for a little over 10 hours of sicktime that was put into my account on Thursday. SCORE! So I'll have a little bit more money to play with than I thought. Not a lot, mind, it's only 10 hours and I don't make that much, but still, it's something to help with the hospital bills.
Note to self: You need to remember to call Monday about getting reinstated back into the system, since it's apparently the only office in your company that isn't open on weekends. >_<
....and now this has been sitting here for two hours. Ugh. This is exactly why I need to be doing the blogging thing earlier in the day. XDDD Luckily it's not quite 11pm yet, so we're still good. ^_^;;;
