Procrastinating, as per usual
July 27th, 2007 02:27 pmSomehow I got conned into working a long shift again today. Two Fridays in a row. At least I talked my way out of three, but still. THIS IS NOT COOL. I never agreed to this midnight bullshit as an every week thing. NOT HAPPENING! *flails*
In other work news, I went in early yesterday to take that stupid Equipment Operations Assessment for Kodak. A waste of my time, really, because I've been working in the photo lab for four years and I know my stuff, but whatever. 98%, baby! *cheers* 85% is passing, so I'm golden. I have the highest grade in the store so far- that includes the PHOTO LAB SUPERVISOR who is my BOSS. He got a 92%. I fucking rule. ^_^
Sent out a birthday card to Sivu today. It won't be on time for her birthday, but I figure as long as it gets to her before she leaves the UK, I'll be all set. XD Only 90 cents, though. I was impressed.
Need to do the edits for ihikago again. Something got screwed up and the mp3 was all sorts of fucked up... thank god I kept the original file before I started messing with it. I think I might've cried. I'm half considering doing another (small!) piece, just for the hell of it sinceI have a few days before deadline, but I don't really want to commit myself. That and I think I should... oh I don't know, WRITE. Subrosa would be great. I finally pulled together a playlist for that... it's really short. Weird. I thought I had a lot more applicable songs than that... I'm getting a little nervous for subrosa, though. I write slowly. If I put it off much longer, I may have to default. D:(which may be a good thing because the tenipuri fandom is scary and might just eat me alive D: ) I think it's time for me to just bite the bullet and go with the idiotic idea I have. Crap.
Or doing the drabbles that I owe would be good. Or one of the bunnies sitting in my "working on" folder. Or... well, I just need to WRITE, dammit. I've been slacking off in that area lately and I need to stop that. And oh, the original fic... *looks sadly at the poor neglected folders*
Alright. Enough whining. This will NOT get anything done. XD Not to mention that I need to hop in the shower.
(This is sort of interesting... I recognize so many people on this list, either by reading their fic, seeing them commenting in other people's journals, or because I have them friended on my writing journal. XD)
