Random flailing
October 28th, 2007 02:49 amApparently I got my weekends mixed up somewhere along the line and my mother is, in fact, working this weekend. Wee!
In other news... Mom brought home a used CPU from... well, somewhere, but it has an ethernet port and stuff. Woot! It looks kind of old, though, and thus I've dubbed it "Kuwabara". XD It'll work as a temporary fix... well, at least, when I can get the damn internet working on it. It tells me there's a connection, but won't let me on the internet, and won't let me set up a network, either. *frowns* I'm going to make mom play with it tomorrow. In the meantime, I can get rid of all the useless crap on the computer. XD I've been told that the computer belongs to both my sister and I... pssh. I have a computer. This is a temporary measure, as far as I'm concerned, and I told Kelly exactly that. When Isumi is fixed, or when I replace Isumi (T_T), Kuwabara will be totally hers. I'm only doing this because I have no other choice at this point.
However, my position on the subrosa fic still stands. I've lost valuable time (and again, the motivation)... there's no way in hell I can finish in time. Period.
The Fullmetal Alchemist game is fun. Not very challenging, and the dubbed Ed voice makes me cringe something awful, but it's still fun. ^_^
I should probably look up some stuff for fifthmas and save it to a disk so I can look at it later, huh? XD Of course, it might help first if I knew whether Kuwabara even has a floppy drive, as a lot of CPU's don't even have them anymore... *goes to check* Ahh! He does, he does! Thank god. XD Maybe it's time to invest in a USB flash drive...
