A lot of random rambling...

 I feel like there's so much I should be doing right now... I need to work on packing. I need to get some music back on my MP3 player. I need to write, because I owe ZOMGSOMUCHFIC and not having a computer is absolutely no excuse. Oh, and fifthmus . Guh.

Which reminds me, anyone not participating in fifthmus ... since I don't have access to my Hikago anime/manga anymore (because it was on my freaking computer)... would anyone be willing to give me some info? Of course, you'd be sworn to secrecy, but... *gives puppy eyes*

I have Ogata fic I'd written for Sivu that I can post now, but I need to figure out where I put the written out version so I can type it up. XD Unless she's willing to type it up for me and e-mail it to me. XDDD Sorry, I'm a huge brat.

Looking at computer packages... there's one with an LCD flat screen monitor (*_* SHINY) along with the CPU and everything for $500. Woot. Of course, this is if I actually need a whole new system, but... *stares longingly at the LCD monitor* We'll see what happens when I come back and get Isumi checked out.

Yeah. Okay. So after some difficulty (because of the way mom's computer is set up, and where the USB ports are), I have the external drive hooked up so I can copy some stuff onto the MP3 player. Of course, I have to make sure to do this right the first time, because I'm not going through this again. It was a pain in the ass. I should probably see if there's anything else I want to bring... I can burn CD's or something. Anyway. My point is: WHY THE FUCK DO I HAVE SO MUCH GOD DAMN MUSIC?! I'm finding this pretty much impossible to go through right now. God. There's like... ten bazillion different folders, and it's fucking impossible. GAH.

Oh. My. God. Why is there Linsday Lohan in my music?! I think I was happier not knowing that was there. XD And Hanson. ZOMG. And I still know all the words to "Weird". Which I guess I should be more embarrassed about, but I'm more amazed that with my awful memory, I still remember after all these years. XD

Yeah. Okay. Three hours later and I think I've gone through everything, and have music on my MP3 player again. And the songs work, which of course is of utmost importance. And... I think I should go do something constructive now. XDDD

Because of You

Going through some music... I find it incredibly amusing that my mom loves the song "Because of You" by Kelly Clarkson... and she has no idea that all three of her children associate that song with her. If you know the song, you'll know why I find this funny. If not... well, here's the song/video, and here's the lyrics. Go look. Seriously. Not so much the video in parts... but the song itself. God. Actually, parts of it make me think of my father too... well. We'll just say that the whole song is absolutely me to a tee. For me, it's one of those songs that just hits so close to home that it's actually difficult for me to listen to it, and it almost never fails to make me cry.
