Day 1- In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.
Oh man, this is hard. I hate pimping myself out. It makes me feel like I'm begging for attention/comments. >_< As far as fanworks I feel no one ever saw, well, that's pretty much everything minus what's been written for challenges. My own fault- see previously mentioned hatred of pimping. To that degree, I would maybe nudge people to the Master List. :D
So we'll go with my favorites. You know, I think it says a lot that even though most of what I write is fluffy cutesy stuff, my favorites of the things I've done are the angsty ones. The things that tear my heart out in some shape or form. Ironically, the three I'm giving you? All written for blind_go, so not part of the "things no one saw" bit, minus the drabbly thing. Go figure.
One Chance- Hikaru no Go- Waya/Touya, Waya freaks after a one night stand. I'm a Hikaru/Akira girl. No question. I do, however, like to mix things up sometimes and see what happens in certain situations. This was a bunny that sneak attacked me right before deadline, if I remember correctly. I was trying to write an entire fic without using dialogue. I wasn't successful in that, but it was pretty close.
Standing At the Edge of the Earth- Hikaru no Go- Hikaru's mother reflects on her son and how he's grown up. I'm not a parent, so I don't know how this feels personally... but she seemed so bewildered and exasperated by Hikaru that... I don't know, it just feels right.
Home/Holding- Hikaru no Go- Kaga/Tsutsui, backstory on Kaga. I've talked about this one. It was an evil bunny, that's for sure. I kept putting off writing it, and then it just totally poured out 12 hours before deadline. One of two things seem to happen when I write at the last minute- either the fic is mediocre, or it's one of the best things I've ever written. Honestly? I cried through writing a lot of this. It's probably... if I had to pick ONE thing of mine to rec people, Home would be it. Holding is in the same universe, so I'm including it. It's just a little drabbly thing from Tsutsui's POV. ^_^
As far as non-fic things, I'm told I must include the Hikaru no Go Kink Meme (there is one on DW as well which I'm not responsible for, but this one's the original, thankyouverymuch~ :D ). So there. I included it. XD
