Congratulations on the reading. You might have been nervous, but you stood up and did it, and that's what counts. The money will always be handy too.
For the last year or so, I've been going to a reading group where we stand up and present our work. The first time I did it, I was shaking so hard I couldn't keep the paper still, but now I can just concentrate on the actual reading. If there are any similar groups where you live, I recommend joining, since it'll help enormously if you need to read in the future.
