Ugh. Good luck with school. ♥ If you can manage to swing the 18 units this semester, my advice would be do it. Even with that many, most universities are divided by department, so you'll probably be in a central location. But yeah, if you do it now with all lower level? It will make your life so much easier.
As for higher expectations... Depends on the university, I guess. I had thought DU was going to be hard ass, but it was actually easier than the community college I went to. Until capstone. Capstone was hell.
