Work Sucks and Then You Die

Explain to me why Sundays suck so much… because I truly don’t understand it. Amanda was up my ass every chance she got as per usual, irritating as hell. It was crazy busy today. I changed the chem filters and then had gunk coming out on the prints that wouldn’t go away until almost 100 prints later (thank god they were all blanks I’d printed out on purpose, but still). I had to help a lady on the picture makers for an HOUR AND A HALF, and she was a bitch and gave me major attitude the entire fucking time (um, hello, you have almost 300 pictures here and several you want doubles, triple, or 5x7’s. Not to mention the CD’s and the actual print that you want a copy of. Did you think this was going to be a quick little venture?). To add insult to injury, she had me so frazzled and stressed out that I ended up sending a big order that I’d meant to delete and didn’t even realize it until after the fact. 100 waste prints later… I had a lady go on one of the digital picture makers at five of nine, so since the lab wasn’t officially closed yet I had to let her do her order. More than 45 minutes later, she FINALLY hands me the slip- she has almost 100 pictures. Which is going to take about fifteen minutes, which is when I’m supposed to be LEAVING, and I can’t even START shutting down the machine until all of the pictures are printed. And, of course, I ran out of paper, so I had to go refill that. Needless to say, I got out a half an hour late tonight (nine and a half hour shifts are always tons of fun!). And Scott’s going to kill me for all those waste prints. Fuck.
