Anybody know a synonym for "door" that I could use? Like... the actual DOOR. I don't know. I got some concrit about All That Matters that pointed out that there's only sliding doors in the Touya house, no doorknobs. *headdesk* I knew I should've given him his own apartment... and I fixed it, but now I've got the word "door" twice in the same sentence. Which makes me highly uncomfortable.
I have officially written my shortest piece EVER. I'm still going to let it sit for a bit and go back to it later for editing, but as of right now it's exactly 100 words. *dies of shock* I know, right? I've never been able to write a drabble, because I don't shut up x_x. And now... uh, yeah. It's a little spin off thing of All That Matters, where Hikaru accidentally lets it slip about Akira's "ticklish" spot. I decided that it would have to be a drabble because all the bunny consisted of was the expression on Waya's face... which I still think I didn't capture very well in writing, but nevermind. It's interesting, and it only took about ten minutes. Speaking of all that, I've got a new rabid bunny that's an alternate ending. Like... Hikaru actually notices Akira's problem, and... uh... yeah, it's another smut-bunny. *blushes* But I've promised myself that I need to at least finish the Hikago WIP's and the KH thing I have going first.
Random thought: I so need a Waya icon. And more Fuji. And Eiji. And... yeah. But I only have 20 spots left, and I want to save some for the summer's Harry-Potter-a-thon, when I know I'll probably make a bazillion icons. Hmph. Maybe I should go through and get rid of the ones I've never used, I'm sure there are a few... and I'm a little puzzled at the moment as to why I need two Amane/Hikari icons... (though I can't seem to be able to bring myself to delete one of them, either)...
Last night at work was the night from hell. I was 20 minutes late, because I was too busy fooling around on LJ to actually get ready. Then Scott decided that he was going to stay late and re-arrange the photo lab and redo the gift display and whatever. Okay, which was fine, to a degree... but first of all- I had ten tons of film to do and he was continually in my way. Second of all- he clocked out around 7, and was then BITCHING because he'd been there for almost 12 hours. Uh... you voluntarily stayed this late. You didn't have to do all this in one shot. You could've left when I came in. Therefore, you have no right to bitch. So yeah... all was going fine, and then I got an error on the machine. Damn. I took out the paper jam, but it was still telling me there was a jam. And then it came up with some kind of Arm operation error or something... I shut it down three times, and the only thing this did was make the alarms go away. Whenever I'd put film in, it would act like it was doing it, but then nothing would actually print. Grr. So I ended up calling Qualex, even though I know those idiots are useless, Sure enough... okay, seriously? I opened up a part of the machine and something fucking FELL OFF OF IT, and when I tried to explain to the guy what just happened, he had no idea what I was talking about. Somehow he thought I was telling him that the damn backprinter ribbon fell out... I know how to put THAT back in, you moron. *hits him* ........so it ended up that the guy was going to page a tech, after nearly 45 minutes of dealing with this asshole on the phone, and it was almost 10 p.m. then... and then I wrote a very long list telling Scott EXACTLY what I did from start to finish, so he'd know what happened (because this, obviously, is the simplified cliffnotes version)... and shutting down, and everything else...yeah. Needless to say I made up that 20 minutes and then some. I clocked out an hour and a half late. Let's just say... it sucked.
I'm really, really beyond sick of looking at this computer screen, though, so I think I'm going to head out and do something else. Maybe Suikoden? Depending on how attached Kelly is to the TV... Later!
