★ Reminder that the Reading Rainbow kickstarter ends in a few days. This deserves ALL THE MONIES, so I just figured I'd throw it out there one more time. ^_~

★ What I'm intending on at least trying for midsummer release anime:
-Free! Eternal Summer (obviously)
-Majimoji Rurumo
-Love Stage!! (This one's mostly because one of the MC's has Nagisa's VA, not gonna lie)
-Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus (I would ignore this, but it looks like they're retconning season 2 and using manga material, so I'll give them another chance)
-Persona 4 Golden (maybe, I'll probably wait and see what happens with this one, I don't see much point in watching it unless it's significantly different from the original anime)
-And obviously still watching Baby Steps (even though Takasaki's voice annoys the living hell out of me for some reason) and Haikyuu!! (which I'm forever misspelling XD)

★ I may have restarted Once Upon a Time (sort of, I was only a couple of episodes into it to begin with). I just started episode 10 of the first season. Time will tell if this was a good idea or not. ^_^;;;

★ My 3DS has decided that it doesn't want to work- it starts to turn on, but then before any screens actually come up, it makes a popping noise and turns off. It has also stopped lighting up when I plug it in. Taking out the battery for a while and putting it back in was absolutely no help. Soooo I have to send it off to Nintendo and hopefully they can fix it. It's going to take a month to get it back probably, since they're apparently backed up, but the guy on the phone was super nice and helpful, so that's a plus. I just hope it's nothing I did. It -was- in my backpack the other day when it was pouring outside? <_< But then, my laptop was also in my bag and my laptop is perfect, so.... I don't know. But it's apparently a common enough problem that if you go to the troubleshooting thing on Nintendo's website, it doesn't even TRY to have you troubleshoot- it just goes, yeeeeeeeah, you need to call us, here's the number. XD And when I told the guy on the phone what the issue was, his initial reaction was like, "......oh." He also kept hesitating after the "r" when he was saying it needs to be repaired- like he was actually thinking "replaced." Which was NOT reassuring.  ;~; But we'll see. Hopefully it's not as catastrophic as I'm imagining. (I'm copying the info on my SD card just in case, though.)

★ I've been spending WAY too much time playing a text-based game called Corruption of Champions and having a lot of fun with it, for the most part. It's dark and extremely twisted and very, very NSFW but I kind of love it anyway. I'm pretty sure that makes me a terrible person. XD (Krim, I think you would like this, by the way. You can either play it in your browser or download it, both links are here. And although you DO have to pick male or female as a gender in character creation, you can start out with all variety of parts you want and you can change them at will.)

with baby steps, i want nat-chan to actually get to play some freaking matches in baby steps soon. i mean i know that ei-chan is the main character and that's fine and obvsly he's gonna get the most focus but IT DOESN'T HAVE TO ONLY SHOW HIM PLAYING EVER.

haha i have a few other friends who play corruption of champions so i've heard about it before and yes it sounds like it's relevant 2 my interests haha. maybe one of these days i will actually play it. i would definitely always be TRYING to get the "bad end" of getting my character raped 2 death all the time or w/e tho so idk how that would go hahaha. (i don't mind games making you choose binary genders or w/e b/c it's like, i don't think of characters as myself anyway it's just a character. plus yeah i've heard about the various sex change/modification options in that. the only thing that annoys me is when games directly ask it like it's YOU, like they're like, "what's YOUR name, and are YOU a boy or a girl" and then i'm like ugh.)

Yeah, it'd be nice if she actually got to play instead of everyone just talking about how good she is. It would be great to SEE it! :D (And, yanno, it might make me dread having her show up a little less. Like I said, it's 100% her voice for me. I like her besides that.)

Me too! Poor sick 3DS. :( Hopefully once I ship it out to the Nintendo doctor, they can make it all better. I just have to remember to bring quarters to the library so I can actually print the shipping label they emailed me.

Well, CoC -does- use second person POV through the whole thing, so yeah, it's all "you" right from character creation. But it's not like it's really YOU, though? My first playthrough, I'm going as a bisexual guy (I've got a male and a female lover living at my camp, heh) and trying to keep him as uncorrupted/unmodified as possible. It's going pretty well- the only thing that's happened that's irreversible is that he's been given an exhibitionist fetish. Oops. When I get bored with that, I'll probably do the "corrupt everyone" track. :3 (I do, on a separate save, have the poor guy addicted to minotaur cum. Which was actually accidental to begin with, but the the results amuse me, so Ive kept the save.) I'm also curious if/how the game is different if you go through as a female- probably nothing super significant, but whatever.

yeah. and it especially annoys me b/c so far in a bunch of ei-chan's matches they've been using her as the "dumb exposition person" to pair with the coach as "smart exposition person." with nat-chan not knowing what's going on or w/e and having to ask the coach to explain it. that whole device annoys me to start with but it's even more annoying when they're making it like nat-chan doesn't know about tennis or something. UM OBVSLY SHE DOES KNOW ABOUT TENNIS, STOP MAKING HER STUPID JUST TO SUIT YOUR LAZY WRITING.

MORE PREGNANCY MAYBE??? that game probably has mpreg tho. i asked jack who plays it but she has only played as female characters so she doesn't know for sure heh

here are the other things jack had to say about that:
-it's easier to get pregnant [as female], [as male] you start with a dick whereas you have to go through some stuff to get a dick if you're female I think
-there are a tiny handful of characters who will only fuck you if you're one or the other
-I mean the sex scenes are different but they are also different if you have different body attributes

Yeah, I've been noticing that myself. It's like, okay, she's been playing tennis for years and wants to go pro, but she doesn't know the basics? Logic fail. Some of it you can put down to her just doing it without knowing the theory behind it, but not all of it. They're just doing the dumb blonde crap.

Probably more pregnancy. And there IS mpreg, actually! I can you from personal experience that if raped by a saytr, a character can get pregnant regardless of their parts. I've never seen it happen with other creatures, though, so I can't speak on those. Oh, and you can be an egg host, as a man. Not real pregnancy, but your ass serves as an incubator for a while. XD

As far as acquiring certain parts, it's not that hard, it's just a matter of drinking this or eating that. For a penis... There are a bunch. Incubi draft will do that, I think, and that's super easy to get a hold of.

Also, poor 3DS! I hope Nintendo can fix it.

Hahaha. It's fun as long as you don't take things too seriously, I think. I tend to skim most of the sex scenes because of elements I'm not really into, but it's creative and interesting and definitely has replay value.
