Ah, AnimeEpisodes.net doesn't have Hikaru No Go. Well... shit. That sucks.
I should go to bed, because it's going to be a long freaking night at work. They have scheduled *drumroll please*.... Mike and I. That's it. From 5-10. What makes that REALLY interesting is that he's supposed to be doing drawers from 8-10 and I'm supposed to be shutting down the lab from 9-10. So... I'm going to have to do absolutely everything I can from 3-5 when there's actually someone else there... and hope to hell we're not that busy... and try to shut down the lab in between customers. I hate that shit. And what kills me is that Vic the DM from HELL can't be having too much of a hissy fit about hours over the holidays because there was never anybody freaking there except for truck nights. We were LUCKY when we had four people, most nights it was just me, a ringer, and a manager and that was IT. Argh. It just frustrates me that Kerry would do this. He needs to learn... this is not his old store. We're the second busiest in our freaking district and scheduling TWO PEOPLE for a shift is just not cool.
It was funny, though, right after I'd discovered the schedule for tomorrow and I was telling Heather about it and getting really freaking pissed off, I ended up having to ring out a customer. I was still sort of talking to Heather, but mostly I was just helping the lady out. She was just about to leave and she went, "I like how you were nice even though you were irritated." Heh. Well... why would I get pissy with her? It's not HER fault the manager's an idiot. My irritation had absolutely nothing to do with her and I wasn't about to take out anything on this poor woman. It just amused me that she said that.
I'm so glad I didn't have to work till midnight tonight, because all Heather did from 9-10 was bitch about how no one else except her does any work. Pssh. Bite me. I know she wasn't talking about me, because I just stay in my little corner and do my own damn job, but that's not quite the point.
It has been freakishly warm lately. Hello, mother nature? It's January. Now... you don't seem to grasp this concept, but the reason we're all sort of confused is that we live in upstate New York. It is not supposed to be 60 degrees in upstate New York at this time of year. Not that we're complaining... we'd just like to know what the hell is going on. And if we should be expecting straight snow from March to June in payback for this. Plsthnx. Love, Upstate New Yorkers
Yes. Bed. Now that it's almost 7:30. Later!
