verloren1983: (Up To No Good)

I just realized that I haven't done any writing in FOREVER- fanfiction or otherwise. Truthfully, it's the original stuff that I'm more concerned about. Although... now that I think about it, this not writing thing makes sense, because of the holidays. I work in an insanely busy retail joint and for a while I was working some crazy hours. So why the hell would I come home from work and write when I'm already yanking my hair out? Writing can be very stressful. Plus I was too tired to concentrate on it anyway. Which would've caused MORE stress. So it's probably better that I was too lazy to even try.

Now that said issues are no longer a problem, however, it's time to get back to work. The to-do list:
1. Firelords of Nihdon- edit jail scene (fix part that caused confusion); WRITE NEW STUFF!
2. Rock the Boat- rewrite chapters that need it; break through the block I have on the current chapter; write new stuff
3. Short story- a title would be good (even just a working title); write new stuff; combine with slightly future stuff already written
4. HP Fic- Edit Aufero and resumbit to Hex Files; find notes for Alius Praeteritus; finish Collide and Incomplete
5. HikaAki- Just ignore the bunnies. Please.
6. Suikoden- Get it over with and finish the damn thing. You know, before I have to shoot myself. (Working title: The World According to Tir McDohl)

Oh. My. God. I just looked at the dub for the first episode of Hikaru No Go, just for the hell of it... I really shouldn't have. It's completely and utterly AWFUL. The voices are ridiculous. Actually... Akari's passable, at least. Hikaru's was bad enough, but then when psycho-crackhead sounding Sai showed up, I couldn't take it anymore. And the preview thingie I got of Akira's voice wasn't any better. Why did they have to ruin it? I guess if I want to watch this again I'm going to have to do the subtitled version again. Not that it's a bad thing... but it would've been nice to have a decent dub to watch.

Kelly actually found Chain of Memories. WoOt!

Well this is a revolting development. I went to go out to Radio Shack before work so I could see about getting a battery for my phone, and I discovered that I had to struggle into my second favorite pair of jeans. :( So not cool. What's even worse is that they not only don't carry batteries for that phone, but they also didn't have the phone itself in stock. And I didn't like the phones that they had. Grr. Which means somehow I'm going to have to find my way over to Walmart or something, and soon. Double grr.

Speaking of phones, I discovered what happened to my spare. You ready for this? Kelly gave it away. She gave the fucking thing to one of her fucking friends, even though it didn't even belong to her, and the only response she could give me when I found out about it was "Oops. Oh well." Can I strangle her now? At least now I know why I couldn't find it... but that fact doesn't exactly make me feel any better. Then to add insult to injury, Kelly was going, "Well, it didn't keep a charge anyway." Which is complete bullshit. It was practically a brand new phone when I loaned it to her. Hell, I only had it for two weeks before I lost the thing. So it was brand fucking new. And I know for a fact that there was nothing wrong with it. So either she's completely full of shit as per usual or she did something to the phone.

Suikoden V whine: Ugh, why can't there be a blacksmith shop in Yashuna Village? I keep going from the Ceras Lake Ruins to Yashuna to hitch a ride way back to Raftfleet just to sharpen weapons, back to Ceras Lake to get more Potch, go to sharpen weapons again... *sigh* And I even have the Prosperity Ring equipped onto Lyon, and this is STILL taking forever. I'm going to go work on that some more... later!
