I have to be up in about six hours and counting, which means that I definitely need to go to bed soon. Of course... that would require me to unglue my ass from this chair. And I don't feel like it at the moment.
I also don't feel like watching this Hikaru No Go episode I've started. I just don't feel like I'm able to concentrate on it properly right now. But being that I set it up YESTERDAY and didn't even get around to it... I probably should.
Stef and I went out for a bit today. First to Wal-mart, where I got a video game for my PS2 that has Street Fighter 2 on it (It has a bunch of other games also, but the only one I really care about is SF, because it is the awesomest fighting game EVER.) and a couple of other things I can't think of right now. Then we went to Denny's to eat... and somehow I ended up promising her that I'd e-mail her the final product of the "100 Random Things" bit I'm working on for a characterization exercise... don't quite know how that happened... and then we went to JoAnn Fabrics, where we lost each other several times because we both have a nasty habit of seeing something we're interested in and just wandering off. I did get a organizer folder thingie for my scrapbooking paper, which I desperately needed since my papers are ALL OVER THE PLACE. And a little sheet of stickers. And cord to fix the necklace that broke. And... yeah. Oh yeah, I found a scrapbooking back that I really like and would hold all my tools and books and crap. The bad part is that it was $130. :( Which totally sucks. After spending FOREVER there, we went over to Price Chopper because Kelly had called and asked me to get cat food. Ugh. So we got cat food. And generic brand cereal, because some of them taste better than the name brands. We both felt a little ridiculous buying kiddie cereals (Generic fruit loops for her, generic coco puffs for me) and giggled about it once we were out of the store. We've decided that even though technically we are 23 years old, we are actually 8. Then we went to my house and watched One Tree Hill and laughed hysterically almost the entire time. Because really... I don't know if it's even possible to watch that episode and not laugh at all.
I came to the most horrifying realization earlier: I haven't updated my rec list since before I started reading Tenipuri fic- which means that I have NO Prince of Tennis on my rec list. Ack! SO not good. I need to actually update that list. Someday. Especially since I'm constantly reading fic, so the longer I wait, the worse the back-up gets. I should really do it soon while it's still kinda sorta managable. And of course when I say that, I simply mean that I won't kill myself from frustration. I'll probably be frantically tearing my hair out, however, because it's just THAT bad.
Speaking of fanfic... is it just me, or has the Harry/Draco well sort of dried up recently? I get a good stream of various Prince of Tennis stuff coming in, and even a bit of Hikaru No Go (which is actually a bit surprising considering that the series is a bit old)... but it seems like there's almost nothing from the H/D fandom. Weird?
And yes, I'm perfectly aware that most of the sentences in this entry start with "I", but I'm too lazy and don't care enough to fix them. So there. (Not like anybody reads this anyway ;)
Going to go finish the Hikaru No Go epi, I think, and then set up stuff for tomorrow. Uh-huh. And then maybe go to bed... though knowing me, I probably won't go until 7 like usual... or even if I do go to bed earlier, I won't be able to go to sleep. Or something. Yeah. Anyway, later!
