☁First and foremost, Merry Christmas to those that celebrate it. :D I will be at work, so you guys have Christmas dinner for me, kay? ^_^

☁Of course, the day after I wrote the last entry? Snow. And then it snowed again. So we're cured of the whole "December and no snow!" thing, unfortunately.

☁Work is hell. I fucking hate my job this time of year. That's all I'm going to say about that or else I'll go on forever. Which... has really been my policy recently, actually. XDDD Although I've gotten $15 in tips in the last week, which is... a lot, considering I never get tips in my job. O_o

☁When I went to go send out those snowflake cookies, LJ had just pulled them- of course- so pretend I sent you one, okay? XD Also, thanks to Cousin for sending me one. <333 Icon just for you!

☁Finished fifthmus  by some miracle. The day before it was due, even! Though I didn't send it out until the day of, simply because I had to do the "inflict it on someone else to see if it requires burning" thing. I'm still not so sure about this one. XD We shall see how that goes. On the upside, it's the first piece I've written in quite some time. On the downside... well, it's the first piece I've written in quite some time. *shifty eyes*

☁Trying to get my emulator to work so I can play Suikoden II. It worked beautifully in XP, but now.... the sound in the opening is choppy, but I can deal with that except it won't let me DO anything. The  keyboard won't work. My USB controller won't work even with new drivers installed. So I have no way to PLAY the damn thing. And yes, I tried downloading new drivers and stuff, still no go.

Some days, I really, really hate Vista.

☁Got the passport put in last week. Thank god. I had to get it expedited, which I already knew, and the picture sucks but it's as good as it's going to get, so whatever. Point being that I should have that in a couple of weeks. Yay! *cheers*

☁Speaking of which, I just figured out that as long as I don't do anything stupid (hahahaha), I should go up to see Aki at the end of next month with a decent amount of money. This is a good thing, considering I thought I'd be going  with less than half that. And that's even considering the bus ticket and a few purchases I have to make that's coming out of my trip fund *cough*Christmas*cough*.

☁Watching Eden of the East... I'm on episode 7 and it's really interesting so far. I'm very curious to see what happens. :D The art style is... different from what I'm used to watching, but not really in a bad way, just... different. It's only 11 episodes, though, so it's a quickie. Makes me feel a little stupid for not watching it before- Aki recced it to me a while ago, and I put it off. Sure enough, it's right up my alley. Ehehehe. ^_^;;;

☁Was finally able to finish watching Chi's New Home, too. The end was corny as hell, but still adorable, and I'm clearly a sap.

1. blind_go  reveals are up. The verdict? 0/7. I fail at guessing. Didn't help that I waited until the last minute despite my best intentions, and some of them were completely and utterly random. Plus I hadn't finished reading fic yet. XD Whoops? Traditional aftermath post will be up... er... eventually. ^_^;;;

2. At my sister's for a few days, because mom is driving me NUTS. We went out to dinner to celebrate Erin's one year anniversary of her gastric bypass surgery (Olive Garden, yum~), then off to the Cheesecake Factory for dessert. I'd never been there- I'm not all that fond of cheesecake, to be honest. I hate the taste of cream cheese. Blech. In any event, this was good... but not worth the $7.50 plus tax they charge for ONE PIECE. I was all O_O at that. Good, but not that good. Jeez.

3. By the way, how the hell did I miss that Brisingr was released? We were in Walmart last night after dinner and everything, and I happened to see it. Cue Ver expression going to "O_O!!!" Needless to say, I had to get it. And they had the first volume of the Fruits Basket manga, so I picked that up as well. This is in addition to the movies and stuff I got the day before (Sleeping Beauty, The Sword in the Stone, and a cheap fantasy set which included The Canterville Ghost and Merlin's Apprentice.) ......yes, I'm clearly ten years old, shut up. XD

4. Check up with the doctor officially in three days. I'm nervous and I don't even know why. Probably... mostly because I'm not sure what he's going to SAY. I'm honestly not sure whether or not I'm ready to go back to work, physically. The thought of all the running around I normally do is... well, daunting right now. Not to mention all the heavy shit I have to lift. And yet... mom is driving me nuts, and mentally, I'm more than ready to go back. It's just the physical part I'm not so sure about. And so... it scares me a little that he might go, "You can go back to work tomorrow!" ....that would suck, hardcore. I certainly can't deny the possibility. Oh, and there's the part where he's probably going to remove stitches. *wince* Not looking forward to THAT, let me tell you.

5. On the upside, I've gotten a bunch done while I've been out. I have a nice long to do list sitting on my computer that's over halfway done. (Consider that I always put way more than is physically possible on my lists...) SCORE!

6. Chi's Sweet Home is officially done, finished watching that a couple of days ago. *sigh* Sadness. I really hope they decide to do another season.

1. Watching the last couple of episodes of Kashimashi is apparently Not the thing to do when one is starting a PMS stint. -_- I did this the other day, completely unaware that I was going to cry. And I pretty much never cry at movies/shows/books/whatever. GUH. In the end, though, it's a good series, and I'm working on acquiring it. XD

2. ZOMGCHI. XD Cat vs. Tape! *dies laughing* Yes, needless to say, episode 47 of Chi's Sweet Home is out. ^_^ I think the title of it was "Chi Sticks", which should really tell you everything. XD

3. I discovered at work a couple of days ago that we're currently carrying buttons that you can put your own picture in. *_* *makes grabby hands* Do it yourself anime themed buttons! XD I... uh... may have gone a little overboard? I'll have to post pictures later. Let's just say the messenger bag I carry to work is basically covered in these buttons... especially since they're 3 inch ones, which is rather HUGE. <_< Honestly, they're rather cheap looking, as you'd probably expect. God, I taped each one in two places just to make sure they didn't come apart like it seemed they were going to. But... I haz buttons? XD

4. Trying to start Elfen Lied. Kept having issues with firefox and so had to start it three separate times. *twitch* But now I've seen the entire first episode. It's very... um... interesting? XD I'm not sure whether that's good or bad in this case, I'll have to see more of it to figure that out.

5. Eeee, Junjou Romantica 12! ^_^ Just finished downloading, I'm going to try to sneak in the episode before I go to work... XD

Guh. It's after 2pm. I should probably attempt to find -something- clean to wear for work (since I failed to do laundry yet again- why can't they just wash themselves, dammit?). Later~
